I have been wanting to do something to commemorate the 29 Faces
challenge since I started it.
Originally I was going to create a book in InDesign. Have you ever tried working with InDesign?? Wow.. It is quite a challenge in itself. I did get started, but very quickly it became a overwhelming... so for the time being I thought ... forget it..

Then I decided I would make a DVD in
IMovie. Well, I have a nice start, but I couldn't let the book idea go. If you have been reading my blog, you know that I belive in the Universe and how it leads us were we need
to be... well, I stumbled upon a really cool website today called Burb
Books.
Blurb Books seems like the no-brainer solution. I'm goin' for it!
If you have something that you would commemorate in a book, maybe for yourself as a milestone, like me or to give as a gift, check it out..

I am starting to work in Blurb, but someone said Amazon gives you a better deal and more promotion? I will have to check that out! Just Do It! My favorite motto. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBLURB BOOKS ROCK! I helped my mom publish her first poetry book and it is absolutely GORGEOUS! WE are both REALLY picky about paper quality, image quality, etc and I can honestly say that this was THE BEST choice. I researched self-publishers for nearly a month before finally deciding to use Blurb. Yes, they're a bit pricey, but let me tell you, they are worth every penny! Aaaand when we placed our order, they had a 30% of coupon going on! The other one I'm contemplating (because of price) is MyPublisher. From reading forums at Blurb (and they are all brutally honest), it is a challenge to learn. Anyhooo, so cool to read your blog! Keep up the good work...and WHERE can we PURCHASE your goodies??? :) I'm a HUGE fan!!! HUUUGz!

ReplyDeleteYep, I have a book I published on Blurb. It's a lot of fun to do and isn't outrageously expensive either.
